Vijay Kumar Gupta is a Civil Engineer of repute. He has retired after a 35 years of glorious service with Government of Haryana, as Chief Engineer from Public Health Engineering Department. He is presently working as Consulting Engineer-cum-Arbitrator.
Presently, he is handling International and Indian Infrastructure projects relating to water supply, sewerage, storm water drainage, roads and rejuvenation of Lakes and water bodies etc, in addition to arbitration cases. He is one of the few experts in India, who can deal non revenue water projects and studies. He has been associated with writing /finalization of Manuals on Water Supply, Sewerage and Storm Water for CPHEEO of MoUD, New Delhi. He inspects Hazardous solid waste treatment plants on behalf of MoEF. He is one of the key officers who started reuse of treated waste water in Haryana.
SERVICE AS ARBITRATOR:
- Working as an Arbitrator since 1995 and have dealt about 100 cases with success. Received a case from Supreme Court of India also.
- Guest faculty for training of officers regarding Contracts, Arbitration etc., in Haryana Institute of Public administration, Gurgaon.
- Retired as Chief Engineer cum Chief Vigilance officer of Haryana State.
- Past State president of Indian Jaycees.
