Senior Indian government officer (Retd. IAS, Secretary Rank) with nearly 4 decades of demonstrated expertise in public policy in areas of economic development, industrial development,public finance and administrative/legal issues acquired across a diverse range of assignments in these sectors.

The experience brings to the table a combination of public policy expertise, exposure to the private sector and domain knowledge & experience of working in and with governmentwhichinteraliaprovided  specialization ineconomic and financial issues involving project evaluation,loan negotiations with multilateral financial institutions , commercial transactions, arbitrations and administrative enquiries and administrative issues

The experience at the State Govt(U.P) in the above areas was acquired with assignments such as GM UP Small Industries Corporation involving purchase and sale of coal,iron&steel,hire purchase of machineryetc;,as MD UPFC and Director of Industries involving project evaluation and sanction of loans,subsidies,financial and administrative restructuring of the Public sector textile mills.The major assignments at the Central Govtlevel,supplementing the above experience at the national and international level were in the Ministry of Finance,International Monetary Fund,WorldBank,ADB,CMD of Food Corporation of India and BIFR.The blend of experience provided full familiarity with issues of project formulation,financing,restructuring and rehabilitation,loan negotiation and related commercial and financial matters.

As a registered member with Indian council of arbitration (ICA) and Scope forum for conciliation and arbitration (SFCA) have presided over/associated so far with about a dozen arbitrations relating to SAIL,NHPC,IOC,SatlujJalVidyut Nigam(SJVN Ltd.), Coop Banks,National stock exchange ltd (NSEL) and other institutions as well as enquiry matters relating totechnical,commercial,legal and institutional/administrativeissues.The experience mentioned earlier has been helpful in carrying out the Consultancy assignments and arbitral work in which one is engaged currently.
