Advocate registered with the Bar Council of Delhi. Empaneled as an arbitrator with the Indian Council of Arbitration and the Society for Affordable Resolution of Disputes (SAROD), a dispute settlement body under the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). Apart from litigation matters, working as an arbitration counsel in commercial claims.

EXPERIENCE

  • Over 26 years in the field of security, researching, analyzing and reporting to the senior most levels in the government, with assignments in security hotspots in India and overseas;
  • As a diplomat, successfully resolved numerous disputes involving Indian employees and workers with their foreign employers, through informal mediation and conciliation;
  • I also performed quasi-judicial functions as Estate Officer in the Andaman’s where I heard and adjudicated on numerous forestland encroachment cases;

  • Envisioned a policy program in Singapore and oversaw its implementation that facilitated repatriation, with zero cost to the government, of a large number of Indian workers languishing in jails in Singaporeafter beingduped by recruitment agents;
  • Saved numerous Indians from various crisis situations overseas;
  • Settlement of employee-employer disputes involving Indian workers overseas;
  • Digital data management of immigration and Indian worker records in Singapore way back in 1992-94 when the computer revolution was in its infancy;
