I am a lawyer practising at the High Court Calcutta since 2003. I pride myself being all along very outspoken and believing in fighting for what I wanted and thought to be right and hence always aimed at being a legal professional. As a lawyer it meant carrying out various responsibilities which involved great deal of timing and patience to finish my job which I was sure I could handle. All I had to do is work as much as possible to succeed in a case as an added impetus. After passing out from Modern High School for Girls in Kolkata I joined the 5 years integrated law graduation course at Hazra Campus (University of Calcutta) which had to be completed first. After obtaining the Degree of Law and getting enrolled with the Bar Council of West Bengal I joined the High Court at Calcutta for legal practice as a professional. I gained the ability to write good quality legal briefs that successfully presented the client’s case. As a lawyer and with the gained experience over the years I acquired profound knowledge of the law and the rights of people. I learned to analyse legal issues in the light of the existing state of the law. I specialise in Civil Writ matters and also appeared as a counsel at a few notable Public Interest Litigation which fetched me repute and noteworthy appreciations from my colleagues seniors and the media too.
Being a successful lawyer has always been my dream and I work hard to achieve and accomplish my goal which takes a lot of heart and determination. This career benefits my life in various ways and I stand firm on my integrity, honesty and endeavour.

Have been a Govt. of West Bengal empanelled lawyer since 2012.
