During the tenure of 7 years Sagar has gained extensive experience in different fields of law by researching and working in cities like Mumbai, Geneva and Singapore. He assists clients achieve their goals by providing strategic and commercially focused advice keeping in mind global standards in various contentious matters involving Commercial and Corporate Laws, dispute avoidance and dispute resolution strategies in the field of Manufacturing and Commercial Projects including Indirect Tax Laws, Construction, Engineering, Infrastructure, Energy.
He has appeared and represented clients before the Bombay High Court, Supreme Court of India, CESTAT, SEBI, SAT, CLB and International Arbitrations as counsel and as Secretary to the Arbitral Tribunal appointed by the SIAC, Singapore. He has also been involved in drafting and vetting high value contracts and agreements. He also had the opportunity to observe and conduct research in a case involving maritime boundary disputes between two nations before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), Hague.
Sagar was also recently appointed on the Users Council Panel of SIAC, Singapore to comment and review on the Draft SIAC Rules, 2016. Presently he is practising law based out of Pune and had the opportunity to work and advice companies in the field of Construction, Wind Energy, Engineering, Manufacturing Units, Software Solutions, Alternative Energy, etc.
