Calvin is an Australian-qualified lawyer with extensive cross-border experience gained through legal practice in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
As Partner for Corporate Services at ICR (Thailand) Limited, Calvin has expertise in resolving corporate disputes, particularly between foreign and Thai parties. He currently advises corporate clients across a broad range of industries – including pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, insurance and FinTech.
Prior to joining ICR, Calvin trained in international dispute resolution with a focus on arbitration in the Middle East and North Africa region. In this role, Calvin worked as part of teams advising on high-value arbitrations brought under the ICC rules, primarily across the construction sector, and frequently involving aspects of Islamic law and Middle Eastern legislation.
Prior to that, Calvin worked in Egypt, Ghana and Thailand, for a large intergovernmental organisation, a small consulting firm and a non-governmental organisation.
Having practised in a number of jurisdictions, Calvin has built up considerable experience of international contracts, dispute resolution proceedings and institutional rules subject to a wide range of applicable laws both from within Asia and beyond.
