CA Paras Savla, is a fellow member of the ICAI, Certified Fraud Examiner (AFE, USA), DISA (ICAI), Insolvency Resolution Professional. He had a stint with one of the Big 4 Accounting Firm. He has advised several corporate on issues relating to domestic tax, international taxation, routing investment into India, structuring the transactions, outbound investments, drafting contracts, conducting due diligence and planning for mergers/ demergers, acquisitions, direct tax litigations and corporate finance.
He regularly writes for various newsletters, magazines, newspapers on the topics of Direct Taxes & Corporate Laws. He contributes update on Income-tax decisions for WIRC of ICAI monthly newsletter having circulation of around 85,000. He is regular contributor to the BCAS & WIRC yearly reference. He has addressed audiences at various seminars, forums and conferences and has also presented background papers on various topics of professional interest. He has been regularly involved for representing on laws and regulation before various Government Authorities.
Considering the hardship caused to the taxpayers he was instrumental in filling writ petitions against Government of India before Bombay High Court with respect to due date of filing Tax Audit Report and Return of Income. As a result of these writs, Hon’ble Bombay High Court has obligated Government of India to issue new returns of Income before the end of financial year.
Currently he is Co-Chairman of Law & Representation Committee of the Chamber of Tax Consultants, Assistant Editor of The Chamber’s Journal. He is also Vice President of the Indo-Belgium-Luxemburg Chamber of Commerce. He was President of The Chamber of Tax Consultants (Est. 1926) and CVO Chartered & Cost Accountants’ Association (Est. 1974) during the year 2014-15 and 2013-14 respectively. He was managing committee member of Indian Merchant Chambers (Est. 1907) for the year 2013-14. He is also the member of various professional and trade organizations. He is actively engaged in mentoring young professionals and start-ups.
Paras is a Chartered Accountant having a tax & audit background of more than Seventeen years. He stood in all India merit list of CA Intermediate exams. He is qualified as Information System Auditor and Certificate Course in International taxes from ICAI. Beside this, he is also Certified Fraud Examiner from Association of Fraud Examiner, USA. Recently he has also cleared Limited Insolvency Examination from Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India.
Currently he partner with KPB & Associates, Chartered Accountants. Before joining, he has stint with S R Batliboi & Co. (Indian member firm of E & Y, Multinational Accounting firm, one of the big 4 accounting firms in the world).

He is also contributor to the Yearly referencer published by the WIRC of ICAI & Bombay Chartered Accountants Society. He is co-author for the publication on Limited Liability Partnership. He has been regularly involved for representing on laws and regulation before various Government Authorities.

1The Western India Regional Council of ICAI
The Western India Regional Council is the largest Regional Council of ICAI comprising of more than 1/3rd of the total members in the Country.
