Professor Emeritus with RICS School of Built Environment since Aug 2013. He holds an MSc-(Defence Management Science) and ME-Civil (Town & Country Planning) in First Class from Pune and Madras University respectively.He has over four decades of extensive experience under his belt as a Contracts Expert, Claims Management, ADR Methods including Dispute Avoidance/Resolution & Arbitration.
He is on the approved panel of Indian Roads Congress as an Arbitrator and as an “Expert” with Indian Council of Arbitration. He has been awarded Fellowship of RICS (UK), a coveted honour and is also a “Fellow” of Four Indian Institutions: Engineers; Surveyors; Town Planners; Valuers.
Having served in Indian Army for about 34 years, hetenanted the positions of Deputy Director General – Planning /Chief Engineer before superannuation. Post retirement in March 2002, he has worked with many Indian/International MNCs as Head of Roads & Runways BU and Project Director with L&T-ECC, Senior Vice President with IJM (Malaysia), Contracts Expert RITES/DMRC and Project Controller with AFCONS. He has hands on experience ranging from procurement/contracting, planning and execution of projects under DMRC, to various Highways, bridges and flyovers, Residential, commercial/hotel complex and Delhi International Airport (T-3).
