Mike Grainey has over thirty years’ experience in energy, including green transportation. Mike was Director of the Oregon Department of Energy from 2002 to 2009 and Deputy Director the prior twenty years. He advised four Governors on energy policy. He was then Renewable Energy Adviser at the Oregon Business Development Department until 2014, when he began his clean energy consulting firm. Mike was named Renewable Energy Adviser of the Year by Finance Monthly Magazine’s Global Awards 2019. Mike has a JD degree from New York University Law School and an undergraduate degree from Gonzaga University. He lives and works in Salem, Oregon.
