Mr. Kirtikant Shantilal Nanavati, born on 18th December, 1937 is the son of late Shantilal M. Nanavati, who served as District & Sessions Judge and after his retirement started practice on criminal side in Baroda. Mr. K.S. Nanavati passed his LL. B. examination from Gujarat University in the year 1960 and joined late Shri I. M. Nanavati, Senior Advocate, in the year 1961.

Mr. K. S. Nanavati started his independent practice in the year 1978 and later formed his own M/s K.S. Nanavati & Associates. Mr. K.S. Nanavati the founder of M/s K.S. Nanavati & Associates and thereafter M/s Nanavati Associates has been practicing law since the past 56 years. He established a name for himself and the firms. There have been many associates working with the firm since inception, as the need for experienced and proficient help arose with the increase in the number of clients. Mr. K.S. Nanavati is designated as Senior Advocate since the year 1995. Mr. K.S. Nanavati has, in August 2002, also formed another firm in the name of M/s K. Nanavati & Gandhi Associates .
