Dr. S. M. Dewan has Over 40 year experience in Business and Consultancy contracts at national and international levels.Has held top appointments as Sr. Advisor and consultant to Tata group company(TCE),GENPACT and Manipal Hospital and Education group.In public sector he was Chairman and Managing Director of State Trading Corporation and Director of MMTC Ltd. apart from being General Manager at Maruti Udyog Ltd. He was also Director General of Standing Conference of Public Enterprises(SCOPE) and member of the governing body of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.

Dr. Dewan holds a Ph.D degree in International Trade, MBA from FMS Delhi, AMP from IIM(Ahmedabad),LLB from Delhi University and Post Graduate in Company Law, Business and Consultancy contracts and projects/ constitution Laws from IDLA Rome. He is member of the Bar Councils of Delhi High Court and Supreme Court of India.

His International experience as Consultant to UN. organization viz I. L.O, UNESCAP,OECD and World bank are of immense benefit in handling of cross-border trade related disputes.

Dr. Dewan has Successfully handled Mediation/Arbitration of Business issues, Cross border trade disputes, company matters, partnership/ dealership/franchisee related matters to a win-win solution and total satisfaction of parties at disputes.
