Apoorva Patel is an international arbitration and litigation attorney based in Washington, D.C. His practice focuses on the resolution of international disputes, and he has extensive experience in all aspects of arbitration, litigation in U.S. federal and state courts, and the negotiation and mediation of commercial disputes. Mr. Patel is also experienced in global intellectual property matters, particularly trademark disputes. Mr. Patel has practiced at leading global law firms in Washington, D.C. and New York City, where he has focused on complex international arbitration, litigation, and intellectual property matters.
Mr. Patel earned his law degree from Harvard Law School and his undergraduate degree from Duke University. Mr. Patel served as Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Negotiation Law Review (a leading journal of scholarship on alternative dispute resolution), advised the Ministry of Justice of Chile on a pilot alternative dispute program through the Harvard Negotiation & Mediation Clinical Program, received a Dean’s Scholar Prize, and served as President of the Harvard South Asian Law Students Association.
